Booking Enquiries

Who can attend?
We accept registrations from UK-based salaried GPs and GP partners only. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us at conferences@haymarket.com.

How do I register for the conference?
Bookings can only be made online. Please click here to book your place. We are not able to take any registrations over the phone but if you have any problems making your booking online please call +44 (0)20 8267 4011 to speak to a member of the customer services team.

Can I attend more than one stream?
No. You can only register to attend one stream at MIMS Clinical Update.

What is the booking confirmation process?
Once you have registered your place online, you will be sent a confirmation email. This will detail your delegate joining instructions (including venue information, map etc) and your place is guaranteed. Streams are likely to get booked up very quickly so if you have not received your confirmation email 48 hours after submission of your booking, please contact the customer services team on +44 (0)20 8267 4011 as there may be a problem with your booking. Haymarket Events are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information. Haymarket Events reserves the right to decline any booking at any time.

Can I send a colleague in my place?
Yes. Please note that replacement delegate nominations must be made before the conference date. Replacement delegates will not be accepted on the day.

Can I share my place at the conference?
No, your colleague must also register.

Can I register for the conference at the conference venue?
No, you must pre-register for the conference. Any delegates that arrive at the venue who are not registered will not be granted access to the conference.

I cannot make the date of the conference, can I still access the speaker presentations?
Speaker audio/slide presentations will be available to purchase following the conference on the myCME website.

Where is the event and how do I get to the venue?
Venue details can be found here.

Are all meals and refreshments included?
Yes, refreshments and lunch are included. Please email events@haymarket.com if you have any special dietary requirements, other than vegetarian, which is included as standard. Please see the conference programme for specific timings for the refreshments and networking breaks.

What about accommodation?
Please note that overnight accommodation is not included. For a selection of hotels near to the venue, please click here. To book accommodation, please contact PHR on +44 (0)845 6123611 or email res@phrmail.co.uk and quote the code ‘mims’.

What time does the conference start?
Conference streams start at 9.00am or 9.15am. Registration for the event however opens at 8am.

What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your booking confirmation email with you to the conference. Please note if you do not bring a copy of your confirmation, you will need to show us a form of identification to gain access to the event.

What if I have special requirements?
If you have any particular requirements, disabilities, access or any other needs we should be aware of, please do let us know when you register your place. Alternatively, please email events@haymarket.com to let us know how we can help.

What happens if a speaker cannot attend?
Please note that speakers are sometimes prevented from attending for personal or business reasons. Although we do endeavour to find suitable replacements of a similar calibre, we cannot guarantee any specific case studies, speakers or sessions. We appreciate your understanding and ask you to check the website regularly for updates.

What conference materials will be made available on the day?
On the day of the conference you will receive a documentation pack with the updated agenda, venue information, speaker biographies and presentations slides where available, as well as extra pages for your notes. Speaker presentations will also be made available via a password-protected website subject to speaker disclosure.

Is there somewhere messages can be left for me?
Messages can be left for you at the conference registration desk.

Is there wi-fi access at the venue?
Yes there is free wi-fi access on site. The wi-fi password will be provided to you in the delegate documentation pack which you will receive on the day of the conference.

Will I receive a CPD certificate?
These will be sent to you after the event.

How do I register for a press pass?
For more information on how to register for a press pass please contact the customer services team at events@haymarket.com.

How can I give you my feedback?
We will provide a conference evaluation form to all delegates and this can be filled out on the day and handed to a member of the team when you leave for the day. Alternatively you can scan this and email it back to us along with any additional feedback at events@haymarket.com.
