Dr Sidra Khan

Consultant dermatologist, Glasgow

Dr Sidra Khan is a consultant dermatologist, based in Glasgow, with a specialist interest in skin ageing and pigmentation. She is deeply committed to advancing inclusive, evidence-based skincare and diversifying traditional beauty narratives. Her work is driven by a strong belief in health equity, particularly within dermatology.

Dr Khan previously led the Global Health and Equity group at the British Association of Dermatologists and remains actively involved in international outreach. She previous worked with the International Foundation of Dermatology, to provide specialist care in the Cox’s Bazar refugee camp in Bangladesh and helped establish a teledermatology service to improve long-term access to dermatological care.

She has published several scientific papers and textbook chapters, and her expert commentary is regularly featured in media.
