MIMS Learning Live 2020

MIMS Learning and our parent company Haymarket Media Group are updating our group event activity inline with guidance from the World Health Organization and to reflect local government guidelines to keep all of our participants and teams safe. For MIMS Learning Live, we are also acutely aware of the impact of the pandemic on our speakers and delegation who are on the forefront of this crisis. We know how important MIMS Learning Live is to our community so we are working through all options for both our North event in Leeds on the 15th May and our London event in Olympia on the 26th June and will update you as soon as we are able. Biography

Dr Sara Ritchie graduated in Edinburgh, but then moved south, and has been working as a GP in London since 2003. Dr Ritchie has a diploma in tropical medicine and a masters in public health, and has spent time doing clinical jobs abroad in Australia and India, and with the WHO in Nepal.

Dr Ritchie completed the diploma in clinical dermatology in London in 2008 and then spent 5 years working as a hospital clinical assistant in dermatology in central London, with 3 years in a tertiary travel and tropical dermatology clinic. 

Dr Ritchie has contributed to four book chapters on travel and tropical dermatology, including updating the dermatology chapter in the most recent edition of Manson’s Tropical Medicine, as well as articles in several primary care publications, including MIMS Dermatology. She has been on the committee of the Primary Care Dermatology Society since 2017, and is the current editor of the quarterly PCDS bulletin. She now works half in general practice and half as a GPwER in dermatology with two services in London.
