Dr Alex Watson
GP partner, trainer and community ENT specialist
Alex is a GP Partner in Ashtead and Leatherhead, Surrey (www.ashlea.nhs.uk). He is an active GP Trainer, and a previous Programme Director for the Epsom Vocational Training Scheme. He has led local community ENT services for almost 20 years, alongside specialist consultant colleagues from four different acute hospital trusts (St George’s, Kingston, Guildford and Epsom & St Helier’s).
He has authored two medical books: ‘ENT in Primary Care’ (RILA, 2007), a handbook for primary care practitioners, and ‘A Modern Guide to GP Consulting – Six S for Success’ (CRC Press, 2014), a guide for all healthcare professionals wanting to improve the way they communicate with their patients.
