Where is the MIMS South Conference and how to get there?

The conference venue is in London at the ILEC,47 Lillie Rd, London, SW6 1. The ILEC Conference Centre in London can be easily reached by public transport and car. West Brompton station (District line and Overground) is a short walk away, as is Earls Court station (Piccadilly and District lines). Ample parking is also available on-site.

Can I transfer my place to someone else?

Substitute delegates are welcome at no extra charge. Please notify us by sending an email to [email protected] with the full contact details (name, job title, email, dietary/accessibility requirements) of the new attendee.

Can I cancel my booking?

Cancellation of registrations must be received in writing to [email protected].

Any cancellations that still have payment outstanding will be liable for either the administration fee, 50% of the registration fee or the full registration fee, depending on the date and time of the cancellation.

Substitute delegates are welcome at no extra charge but we require you to advise us of any substitutions (including full contact details, dietary and accessibility requirements) no later than 30th April, 2026.


When will I receive joining instructions for the event?

You will receive joining instructions one week prior to the event. If you have not received this information, please email [email protected] with your booking reference number.

When will I receive my conference badge?

Upon arrival please head towards the registration desk where you will be provided with a badge. Please ensure that you wear your badge at all times. 

In the event that you lose your badge, a replacement must be obtained at registration. In addition, some of the exhibiting companies may ask to scan your badge. Please be aware that by doing this you will be providing your basic contact details; akin to handing them a business card.

Is there a cloakroom at the venue?

There will be a complimentary cloakroom for small bags and coats.

Are lunch and refreshments included in the registration fee?

Hot and cold refreshments will be available in the networking area throughout the day. This is included in the ticket price. If you have indicated any allergies or dietary requirements when registering, these will be provided to the venue.

Is WI-FI available?

Complimentary WI-FI will be available for general web browsing and email throughout the event.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the conference is smart casual. 

Will there be photography at the event?

There will be photography and/or video production taking place during the conference and the resulting images may be used for promotional purposes on-line and/or in printed materials.

Important Information


Emergency and First Aid

In the event of an emergency please contact a member of staff from Haymarket or The Spine, who are located on all levels and at the registration desk on the ground floor.

In the event of a fire alarm, please leave your belongings and exit via the clearly marked emergency exits, where stewards will guide you to the meeting point. Do not use the lifts.

Accessibility

The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users and also has accessible toilets.


We ask all our attendees if they have any additional requirements as part of the booking process and make every effort to accommodate them. We're committed to making this event accessible to everyone.

Sustainability

As of July 2023, the organisers of MIMS Learning Live, Haymarket Media Group, have been awarded ISO 20121 for its Sustainable Event Management System. Check out here the positive changes we introduced.

Are there any accessible toilets?

Accessible toilet facilities equipped with emergency alarms are located on all floors and can be accessed from all of our event spaces.

Will there be any special sound and visual effects?

Apart from stage lights there won’t be any flashing lights and loud music.

Am I allowed to bring my aider or assistance dog?

Yes. Please inform us when booking so we can reserve a space for you and your aider / assistance dog. (Must be checked with the venue first)


Events Code of Conduct

Haymarket Media Group, the organisers of MIMS Learning Live, are committed to ensuring our events provide a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone present. All attendees are expected to adhere to our Events Code of Conduct to ensure a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone attending.

Quiet space / Prayer room - if applicable

If you require the use of a quiet space to take a moment away from the sensory experience of the exhibition to rest, reflect or pray, we will have a dedicated room available, which can be found on the Top Floor. Please follow our on site event signage which will direct you to the room. Dedicated networking, seating and remote working spaces will be available throughout the event for phone calls, meetings, discussions or anything that may disturb the quiet enjoyment of the quiet space for others.

Hearing loop/captions

This can be arranged on request.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance (CPD)?

Certificates of attendance will be issued after the conference and sent to your registered email address. This conference is self-accredited. There is no set amount or min/max of credits to receive, it depends on how many sessions you attend but typically 1 hour of learning = 1 CPD credit.

You can view the programme to get an idea of how much you could accumulate.

This event is for qualified healthcare professionals. Anyone under the age of 18, including children and babies will not be permitted entry. Pharmaceutical companies will be at the MIMS Learning Live events.

The distribution of promotional material, except by exhibitors at their stands, is strictly prohibited. Visitors/delegates are prohibited from selling or promoting any product by word-of-mouth. The organisers reserve the right to remove any literature and to ask the person to leave.
